Heart Urns is more than a business — it is a tribute to
beauty, memory, and craftsmanship. Founded by Stefan and Violeta, a
husband-and-wife team with a deep love for art and heritage, Heart Urns was
born from a journey across Europe — a journey that changed the way we think
about remembrance.

In the summer of our lives, we set off on a Europe-round
trip that took us to some of the continent’s most inspiring cities — Florence,
Paris, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Barcelona, Bruges, Kraków, and Ljubljana.
We wandered through narrow cobbled streets, stepped into the workshops of local
artisans, and visited the cemeteries that told the silent stories of
generations past.

Everywhere we went, we found artistry — not just in
galleries and museums, but in the hands of skilled craftspeople and in the
beauty of memorials and monuments. Through the Homo Faber Guide, we
discovered a Europe still rich with tradition, where art is kept alive by
people who shape, sculpt, and create with meaning.

One thought stayed with us:

Why should art be celebrated only in life? Why not also in how we remember
those we love?

With this question in our hearts, Heart Urns was born.

We began seeking out Europe’s finest artisans — ceramicists,
woodworkers, stone carvers, and metal artists — whose values align with ours:
timeless design, human touch, and profound meaning. Every urn we offer is
handcrafted by these skilled individuals, each piece telling a quiet story of
love, legacy, and craft.
